Effective May 5, 2022, the parking garage is closed Thursdays – Sundays, from 10:00pm to 5:00am. Vehicle entry will be limited to permit holders only. Permit holders may enter through the entrance off SW 3rd St and must stop to speak with security staff to confirm permit. Non-permit holders will not be granted entry. Please contact the Parking Operations office with any questions at 352-334-2569.

6am-8pm – $1.00/hr
8pm-6am – $5/night
Monthly Rate:
Unlimited access – $25/mo. +tax
Discounted Quarterly Rate:
Unlimited access – $20/mo. +tax

The SW Downtown Garage, at 105 SW 3rd St., is fully automated; and there are no gates or cashiers stationed at the vehicular entry/exit lanes.
Please note: the garage at 220 SE 2nd Ave is not controlled by the City. Please contact 352-745-7800 for information.
The garage operates on a Pay-by-Plate system and parking is paid using the Passport app – available for any smartphone. Read FAQs about the app here.
Monthly/Quarterly permits are paid and renewed using your Gainesville Permits account ONLY.
